The best tool acting: Status

Social animals have rules that prevent killing each other for food, partner or a place to live. They face each other and often fight to establish a hierarchy, after which they never again struggle unless any attempt to change the pecking. All characters have a status within a movie. This sequence is a good example to study the status and how it can affect performance.

Tyrion has Maester Pycelle arrested for violating their trust and give information to the Queen Regent Cersei Lannister. Cersei sends Tyrion Lancel to deliver a release order for Pycelle. To become better leaders is essential to know the nuances of the status of character in their world and how it changes their status throughout the film.
